Rick has the gardening gene! It made perfect sense that a nursery would be a great place to start a second career. Rick has been with The Greenery since the summer of 1999. When not at work you’ll find Rick gardening at his home, which he shares with his two goofy dogs. Crazy about container gardening, he has nearly 400 decorative pots flooding his garden! Rick has a wealth of knowledge including his specialties; perennials, roses and container designs. |

Teresa
Gift Shop Manager, Bookkeeper
Teresa has been at The Greenery since 2000. She has wonderful eye for design both in the garden and in the home. She shares her home with her husband, Mike, two children in high school, and menagerie that includes a dog, cat, 2 goats and a bearded dragon. They enjoy getting to the beach or the mountains whenever possible and sharing food and games with good friends. Teresa’s favorite plants in the garden are perennials, especially the black and blue salvia and pineapple sage, which the hummingbirds love. |

Adria
Hardgoods Manager,
Marketing and Display Manager
Adria has been gardening since age 12. Since joining The Greenery in winter of 2001, she has married Chris, a painter and volunteer fireman. They had their first child, Joseph George born November of 2006. Using her degree in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Horticulture Science, Adria has learned the nursery well. She has a thorough knowledge of plants as well as products, marketing and displays, too. Her passion, when she isn’t caring for her family, is in wildlife friendly
plants and wild birds. |

Chavelle
Nursery and Gift Shop Sales
Chavelle brings to The Greenery 20 plus years experience in floral design with a sincere interest in applying her design skills to gardening. She enjoys discovering new and cool plants here at the nursery. Other hobbies include kayaking, hiking and cooking for friends and family. She also loves to spend time at Lake Tahoe with her husband, Cory. |

Cam
Nursery Sales
Cameron, “Cam”, brings two decades of experience teaching math and science to his position at The Greenery. He is very good at answering questions about plants and explaining products to the customer. Cam’s particular interest in plants is centered on trees, implementing his degree in Forest Management and experience with the USDA Forest Service. When Cam is not working in his garden, he enjoys making carvings out of stone, wood or bone.
